We've introduced improvements to virtual account creation error handling and updated application payment execution policies to provide greater flexibility and control over payment processing.
Added
Virtual account creation error handling
POST /v1/customers/{customer_id}/bank_accounts now returns a 503 response with the error code VIRTUAL_ACCOUNT_CREATION_UNAVAILABLE when a virtual account cannot be created in time.
Requests can be safely retried without creating duplicate virtual accounts.

Application payment execution policy
The payment_policy attribute has been renamed to payment_execution_policy on the application resource and its creation and update endpoints.
The new policy supports three values:
instant: Instant SEPA only.standard: SEPA only.flex: Instant SEPA when supported by the bank, with SEPA as a fallback.
The previous INST and SEPA values have been replaced.
