Manage my Magento payments
Generalities
When your customer will pay for his orders with Fintecture you will be able to perform several actions on these directly from your Magento back office.
View an order
When an order is made with Fintecture, you will be able to find it with your other Magento orders, in your Back Office in SALES > Orders.
When installing the extension, several custom statuses for Fintecture are added to your store. You can consult them by going to your Back Office in STORES > Order Status. All Fintecture's statuses start with "Fintecture".
Refund an order
In your Back Office, you can refund an order that has been made with Fintecture.
To make a refund of an order, you can go into an order detail and in Invoices. You can go into the revelant invoice and click on “Credit Memo” button.
You can set up your refund and click on "Refund".
After the status change, you will received an email from Fintecture to initiate the refund.
Automatic expiration of pending orders
As on Magento, orders are created as soon as the shopping cart is validated, this option avoids ending up with pending orders that will never be payed.
With Fintecture's Immediate Transfer configuration, you can automatically cancel "pending" orders based on a set duration.
- From your Admin Panel, go to Stores > Configuration > Sales > Payment Methods
- Click on the arrow on Other Payment Methods and Instant bank payment will appear
- Click on Advanced Settings below Instant bank payment and click on Automatic expiration of pending orders
- Ensure that Yes is selected in the Enable automatic expiration of pending orders field
- Set a duration in minutes in which orders will be canceled
Order status
When an order paid with Fintecture's Immediate Transfer arrive on your shop, there are three possibilities :
- Payment is accepted by the customer's bank and the order has the status "Processing"
- Payment is in progress in the customer's bank and the order has the status "Pending"
- An error has occured during the payment and the order has the status "Canceled"
With Fintecture extension, you can customize your status mapping according to your needs.
- From your Admin Panel, go to Stores > Configuration > Sales > Payment Methods
- Click on the arrow on Other Payment Methods and Instant bank payment will appear
- Click on Advanced Settings below Instant bank payment and click on Payment status mapping between Fintecture and Magento
Here, you can map our order statuses with your's. By default, the mapping is configured to use the native statuses of Magento and the custom statuses of Fintecture.
If you are unsure, DO NOT TOUCH these settings.
Smart Transfer specificities
If you have the Smart Transfer feature activated, new options and statuses can be applied to your orders.
Cancel an order
If the payment is in pending, you can cancel the payment and the order in Magento.
To cancel an order, you can go into an order detail and click on the cancel button at the top of the page.
Overpaid payment
If the payment amount is higher that the order amount, Fintecture will mark the order with “Fintecture Overpaid Payment” status and add a new payment line with a message that informs you that there is a difference in amount.
Partial payment
If the payment amount is lower that the order amount, Fintecture will mark the order with "Fintecture Partial Payment” status and add a new payment line with a message that informs you that there is a difference in amount.
